Living In Faith

Room 111

Facilitators: Darren Aghabeg, Yvonne Chapman, Jana Manning

Living In Faith offers an engaging class to nourish your spiritual growth. Our facilitators provide expository teaching of the Holy Scriptures, which may include specific books of the Bible, or studies on topics, history, and characters from the Bible. We welcome candid, meaningful discussions about the lessons presented, how our present culture and current events touch the lives of believers, and how to apply biblical principles in our lives. Participation is encouraged but not required. We hope that our class will help you grow in your faith, find hope for the future, and have an ever-increasing love for God and others. Class begins around 9:15am and dismisses between 10:15 and 10:30am (class times accommodate our members who sing in the choir).

Study beginning August 17th:
Lessons from the Gospel of Paul
Explore the theology of Paul which is central to our Christian faith; resolve how to “live in faith” during these times, united with Christ and with the Church united; discover how to discern God’s call upon your life; learn how to fulfill your role within the body of Christ and how to influence others for Christ. Together, let us blend the greatest commandment with the great commission and build the Church.

Looking for a place to grow in your faith, build meaningful relationships, and explore God’s Word in a fun and supportive environment? Come join our Sunday School class!  Whether you’re new to church or have been attending for years, our class is a welcoming space for everyone. Each week, we dive into Scripture in a way that’s easy to understand and apply to everyday life. Through group discussions, Bible lessons, and occasional hands-on activities, we encourage one another to grow spiritually and deepen our relationship with God.  Expect a warm community, thoughtful conversation, and a safe space to ask questions, share insights, and be encouraged.

Compass Class

Room 114

Facilitator: John Campbell

"Compass Class" is a journey of young and mature Christians through life's stages. Topics will be class driven and may include subjects like marriage enrichment, child rearing, "Financial Peace" (Dave Ramsey), work and life stresses, Proverbs (rules for life), and the plan of salvation, etc. The format will be primarily DVD instruction from notable Pastors and instructors, based on Christian and Biblical principles. It will be an interactive and discussion-based class. Hopefully the class will include mature Christian couples to add their perspectives and life experience to the discussions as well.  The goal of this class will be an enjoyable growth opportunity in Christian fellowship.

Youth Room

Facilitator: Nate Smith

Calling all youth! Tired of sleeping in on Sunday mornings? Do you feel like you need a break from the activities you do all week but somehow find you are doing them again on Sunday? Well look no further! God has established a rest for people in His Church, particularly when we gather together for worship, fellowship, and instruction on Sundays.

Starting August 10th, the class will focus on understanding the concept of worldview. We will then proceed to examine worldviews that have existed and are currently in vogue. Finally, we will develop through the study scriptures and history the Christian worldview. The goal is to bring awareness of our biases and form our souls to see, speak, act, think and more with a proper view of the world!
